An exciting opportunity has arisen for an agile and proactive Store Design Draftsperson to join a dynamic team at Brandbank. You will create detailed technical drawings for retail fitout projects, translating design concepts into precise visual representations. Collaborate with engineers, builders, project managers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy.

THE ROLE:

Create and develop concept and detailed technical drawings; produce construction documentation and ensure adherence to company standards, guidelines and compliance regulations.
Utilise AutoCAD, Revit or SolidWorks to produce precise and details drawings.
Collaborate during project meetings, offering expert advice and insight ensuring stakeholder alignment to project objectives.
Organise and maintain documentation, all draft files, revisions and final drawings.
Implement document control procedures to ensure accuracy.
Conduct a thorough review of drafts to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with design specifications, standards and codes.
Communication changes and design modifications to relevant stakeholders.
Comfortable to work in the office 5 days per week in our St Kilda Rd office.

The Ideal Candidate

Associate degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture or a related field. Bachelors degree, highly regarded.
5 years + experience in a drafting or related role with a proven track record of producing accurate technical drawings.
Experience working across Retail Fitout projects, preferable.
Proficiency in drafting software.
Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to pick up on minor discrepancies.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate and translate technical concepts to stakeholders outside the industry.
Demonstrable problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex details, maintaining a solutions-focus.
