Why is this role for you?

Let’s be honest, construction estimating is a tough gig.

You spend hours and hours each week measuring and pulling everything together only to see that most of your work and effort are wasted each month.

You often think there must be a better and smarter way to do it, and you'd be right. This builder is doing it and so could you.

By taking away your time doing measurements you can focus on going on site walks with the subbie and client and foreseeing the issues that will come up on the project. This builds a better relationship with them and also saves the builder money by fixing problems before they happen!

You'd work on projects ranging from $500k to $10million with 70% of it in retail and the rest being commercial and new build schools.

You can work hours that suit your lifestyle plus some WFH once you are comfortable in the role and settled in.

Salary starts in the $130-$160k + super and bonus and you’ll also get extra holidays, discounts for your fitness/health/shopping and 2 KPI driven appraisals a year.

If you want to progress into a senior role and grow a team around you in an estimating positon that isn't bog standard then this is the role for you.

Office has free parking and you'd work from a brand new office space close to transport links.

This sounds good to you, but what are we looking for?

You don’t need to be the finished article to apply for this role. You can put on courses for software and other areas if needed, but you will need to have at least the following 4 attributes;

You’ve got 4+ years of estimating experience in Australia with a head contractor.
You have won projects and tenders in the $1-$5million range in the fit-out sectors. (Retail is a bonus)
You are confident in your ability to do a site walk and engage with subbies and the client
You are self-motivated and can enjoy working in a smaller team of 20 (75 across the whole company in other states)
