Purpose of the Role:
The TBM Conveyor Supervisor will support the superintendent in the coordination and management of the fixed plant equipment needed to support the Snowy2.0 project, particularly the installation, commissioning, running, maintenance and decommissioning of the TBM Conveyors. The role will also oversee the utility / services installation and maintenance on the Snowy 2.0 project.
Qualifications:
- Trade or Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- White Card
- Driving License
Experience:
- At least 8 years operating in the same field on major infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity to the Snowy 2.0 project
- At least 5 years of experience operating in a similar level role on a major infrastructure project
- Experience in Experience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording.
- Experience in Safety, Community and Environmental Management
- Experience in Quality Management
- Experience in Planning & Resourcing
Required Competencies:
- Strong Fixed Plant knowledge
- Experience managing major tunnelling support plants such as Slurry Plants / Waste treatment etc.
- Sound knowledge of civil construction materials / service
- Sound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulations
- Ability to supervise team members, work closely with safety and other departments to control and maintain project safety standards
- Demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to lead and manage teams
- Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills
- Practical knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft software packages.
- Good communication skill, both oral and written
- Self motivated.
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade background

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Assist the superintendent in creating plans for scheduling and resourcing of work activity
- Assists the superintendent in the management and the deployment of fixed plant equipment
- Assists in the development of specifications for fixed plant production and determining materials, equipment’s, material flows and layout of fixed plant and systems
- Inspecting and auditing the fixed plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained in accordance with Australian Standards
- Directing the maintenance of the projects fixed plant and equipment
- Manage and coordinate fixed plant services
- Create plans for scheduling and resourcing of work activity
