Description:
Will travel throughout the greater Philadelphia area. May require over night travel but that is not typical. Looking for an Environmental Technician. Essential responsibilities and duties include; General environmental duties working on environmental and remediation sites. Waste and document preparation; regulatory and safety review Environmental inventory management through the use of software and computerized tracking system Learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practices Become familiar with packaging guidelines and disposal facility selection Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations, Coventry Health and Safety Practices and EPA regulations Communicate effectively with project managers as well as fellow employees to solve complex issues Demonstrate supervisory leadership abilities through interaction with coworkers Demonstrate the ability to be creative and solve unique problems At times depending on the job site and timeline of project this candidate could also be responsible for general maintenance of the grounds and job site

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- MUST HAVES** 2 years of experience working outdoors on environmental sites Ability to use and operate environmental testing equipment Ability to work outside and overtime hours Candidates must be able and comfortable performing general duties as an entry level environmental technician. This could include assisting project managers or project assistants with outside up-keep of job site. Document control or data entry of environmental data. Will do alot of work digging up old gas/oil tanks and remedial construction Hops in Company Vehicle and start times vary
