Role Overview: As the HSEQ Systems Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless implementation of our operational procedures and systems across all projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of HSEQ-related tasks, from conducting audits to developing risk management plans and fostering a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Ensure that the company’s operational procedures and systems are consistently implemented across all projects, adhering to ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Regularly visit all sites to undertake audits and checks with regards to Quality, Work Health & Safety, and Environmental Management.
- Collaborate with Project Teams to develop comprehensive risk management plans and strategies, ensuring adherence to established systems.
- Assist site Managers with Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) reviews, analysis, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety.
- Manage compliance platforms such as CM3, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
- Coordinate annual surveillance audits with third-party auditors, manage re-certification audits, and undertake incident investigations and close-outs as necessary.
- WHS and Injury Management procedures, ensuring prompt and effective responses to any incidents.
- Develop and maintain a culture of "Best Practice" across the business, promoting continuous improvement and excellence.
Qualifications And Skills
- - Previous experience in a similar HSEQ management role, preferably within the construction industry.
- - Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- - Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- - Proven track record in developing and implementing HSEQ systems and procedures.
- - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- - Relevant certifications or qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, or Environmental Management would be advantageous.
